Designing and Selecting the Optimal Board - June 5, 2018

Classroom
June 5, 2018
Pittsburgh, PA

Overview

Great boards aren't born in a vacuum; they are built with intention. High-performance boards help to accelerate growth while adeptly tackling growing governance responsibilities. But what is the composition of an exceptional board and what are today's biggest board building challenges? Join us on June 5th for lunch, networking, and a discussion, led by David Motley, General Partner, of BlueTree Venture Fund. The panel will discuss approaches that foster superior company performance, the differences and similarities between private and public company boards, the "learning experiences" that boards should avoid, and finally, the latest trends in board design and selection that directors should have on their radar.
